What's the goal?

Open every safe tile without opening a trap. A number on a tile tells you how many traps are hiding in the 8 tiles around it.

Is the first tap ever unsafe?

No — the very first tile you open is always guaranteed safe, along with the tiles immediately around it.

How do I mark a tile as a trap?

Long-press a closed tile to cycle its mark: unmarked → 🔥 flagged (blocks that tile from being opened by accident) → ❓ suspected (just a note — doesn't block opening it) → unmarked again.

What's the difference between Beginner and Advanced?

Beginner is an 8×14 grid with 18 traps and a size you can customize from the Home screen. Advanced is a fixed, larger 9×16 grid with 36 traps — a meaningfully denser, harder board.

My best time or stats disappeared.

Best times and stats are stored only on your device. Reinstalling the app, restoring from a different device backup, or clearing the app's storage will reset them — this can't be recovered, since nothing is backed up to a server.

There's no sound.

The game plays short sound effects for opening tiles, flagging, winning and losing. Check that your device's volume is up — the game also plays while the ringer switch is silenced. Sounds only play while the game is open; nothing plays in the background.
